Nowadays I have a feeling that most of the software or apps on laptops and mobiles are too complicated or over-engineered. The apps I am using nowadays have too many features other than their core purpose. I know these apps are made for a wide range of users, and the corporations behind them want their products to be feature-rich...

Frictionless tool
The most frictionless tool I have ever seen is a piece of paper and pen.
It’s simple and easy enough to not think about anything else related to it. I don’t need to think about how I can use that, as my brain knows how to use it like I know how to eat. There are no disruptions like new interfaces where the button position has been changed, or performance glitches due to useless features. It’s just a tool that easily becomes part of your body, and you can start working immediately. Eventually it will disappear from your mind when you are using it. That’s how it becomes a perfect tool.
Bro
How well do you know
your brother?
While driving, if he says “turn left,”
I can take a right, confidently,
because I know
he meant a right turn.
Dad
How can I be the best dad?
my younger friend asked.
You’ll become a great one
the moment you learn to heal
your kids’ wounds
with a single kiss.
The past smiled at me.
You
“Daddy, what is the most beautiful thing
you have seen in your whole life?”
my little one asked.
“You,” I replied.
She laughed while hugging me tightly.
Stars
What is love?
the younger one asked me.
After decades of togetherness,
you can still see the stars
in her eyes when you look at her.
I replied,
while looking at her.
Magic
What is Magic, Daddy?
My little one asked.
I can see myself in your eyes
when you are smiling,
I answered.
I don’t know whether
she got it or not,
but she smiled.
Information Abundance
In an age of artificial intelligence and endless information, everything sits at our fingertips. We can access almost anything, from anywhere, at any time.
But the real challenge is not access; it is direction.
What matters now is not what you can find, but the questions you are going to ask. Questions such as: What are you trying to achieve? How do you identify problems worth solving? How do you ask questions that lead somewhere meaningful? Ultimately, the quality of your questions determines the path you walk.
I believe that in this era of abundance of information, the true skill is not knowing more. It is learning how to ask better questions.
The illusionist
My poems can make
you believe
I am the one
you dream of.
But I am sorry love,
I am the illusionist
you were never
destined to meet.
